BPIA labors to expand opportunities, roles and numbers of all minorities in global affairs
BPIA labors to expand opportunities, roles and numbers of all minorities in global affairs in general, and in professional and leadership positions in the global arena, in particular. The stark under-representation of minorities, especially that of the African Americans, deprives the United States of adequate access to the range of effective perspectives, inputs and human resources required to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. Accordingly, BPIA continues to respond to changing foreign policy, security, educational and commercial needs in the US by promoting the expanded involvement of African Americans, other members of the African Diaspora and other under-represented minorities in international affairs. Preparing them for leadership roles in world affairs and encouraging their maximal participation in the global community underscores our mission. BPIA supports and works collaboratively with public and private sector organizations to carry out international and multicultural initiatives.
BPIA is a charitable, non-profit membership association founded in 1989 to increase the involvement of African Americans and other people of African heritage in international affairs. BPIA fulfills its objectives in education, cultural exchange and economic and professional development through public education forums and conferences, referrals, a newsletter, networking and outreach activities and the awarding of grants and scholarships.
We are a volunteer association of men and women brought together by our professional involvement or personal interest in international affairs. Our goal is to increase and enhance the involvement of the African Diaspora and other under-represented minorities in the dynamics of political, economic and cultural relations between the nations and the peoples of the world.
To do so, we are committed to linking our efforts to those of groups and organizations that have mutually supportive purposes and goals. Individually, we are public, private and non-profit sector professionals who live and work in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean and North America. We work at the entry, mid and senior executive levels in government agencies, https://canadian-pharm365.com/buy-klonopin non-governmental organizations, and for-profit businesses.
